Originally Hiram L. Carson worked for the Iowa Service Company. Eventually he worked in Norfolk, Nebraska for successor Iowa-Nebraska Light & Power Company. Did the elder Carson then work for the Consumer's Public Power District after 1940? I know his wife later settled in Columbus, Nebraska home of CPPD (Now NPPD).

None of his biographies mentions Consumer's, only Norfolk. I guess the question is whether CPPD take over Norfolk Power before Homer (not Hiram) retired or after?
